The front of the house gets really dark at night, so I needed a lamp with a timer to go in the library. I found a yellow lamp base at Goodwill for $4.00 and gave it a few coats of white spray paint. For the shade, I cut long strips of fabric and hot glued them into a circle to resemble flowers.
After that, I glued them around the base of the shade and it was all done.

I love it! Way to upcycle something plain into something beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I'm thinking about using your idea for my little girl's nursery - such a great way to reuse and be creative. Thanks for sharing!
